Pyongyang, February 11 (KCNA) -- North Hamgyong Province in the DPRK is directing efforts to boosting the farms and workteams with poor foundation as part of the work for strengthening the foundation of agricultural production.

After grasping the real state of the whole farms and workteams in the light of the last year’s experience, the province has assigned a detailed task to each unit to boost the farms and workteams with poor foundation and raised the enthusiasm for assisting the rural communities.

Officials of the provincial level organs and industrial establishments have gone to farms and workteams under their charge to solve knotty problems in time.

Cities and counties are helping units with unfavorable conditions to raise grain production at all farms and workteams in their regions.

As a result, successes have been made in preparations for farming in the province amid the supply of lots of self-sufficing manure, farm implements and farming materials to the farms and workteams with poor foundation. -0-
