Pyongyang, June 1 (KCNA) -- New factories of the people have been built in the construction sites for implementing the Regional Development 20×10 Policy of the Workers' Party of Korea this year.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un personally attended the groundbreaking ceremony of a hospital and leisure complex in Kangdong County for the Regional Development 20×10 Policy on February 6 and encouraged with a stirring speech the officers and men of construction units at all levels to open up a prelude to the heroic struggle in 2025.

On the basis of analyzing and reviewing the experience and lessons drawn last year, the non-permanent Ministry of National Defence group for the Regional Development 20×10 Policy has constantly grasped the supply and transport of materials in liaison with relevant units and areas and directed main efforts into putting construction equipment on a modern and standard basis. It has scientifically and meticulously organized and guided the work to simultaneously push ahead with the construction of the projects for implementing the WPK's policy on regional development in a balanced way.

Thanks to the struggle of the officers and men of the 124th Regiments of the Korean People's Army, the framework projects for regional-industry factories in cities and counties were mainly completed in a little over three months since their groundbreaking ceremonies of significance. -0-
