Pyongyang, September 21 (KCNA) -- A guarantee for guiding farming in a unified and scientific way was provided in the DPRK thanks to the establishment of the teleconference system and management information system in the agricultural sector, according to Rodong Sinmun.

The infrastructure of information and communications was built up and the scientific guidance and control system was established even in every ri throughout the country, thus making it possible to promptly and correctly grasp the actual conditions of the overall agricultural production of the country and organize and conduct the farming process and management control in a scientific and rational way.

Latest information technologies have been introduced in the agricultural sector.

Such IT products as e-map management program are being introduced and the agricultural sci-tech dissemination homepage "Hwanggumbol" (golden fields) and the agricultural sci-tech service program "Hwanggumyolmae" (golden fruit) are now in use for the dissemination of science and technology and the service of tele-questioning and answering for farming techniques.

The establishment of the system for evaluating the crop estimate across the country by the satellite information analysis and crop growth simulation technologies is making a contribution to putting the agricultural production on a scientific basis. -0-
