Pyongyang, April 30 (KCNA) -- The Pyongyang Pomiculture Research Branch of the Institute of Pomiculture of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences was wonderfully renovated and inaugurated in the DPRK.

The completion of the modern pomiculture research base fully furnished with all conditions including various research rooms like breeding research room, laboratories and e-reading room makes it possible to provide another material and technical foundation conducive to the implementation of the Workers' Party of Korea's policy of fruit farming.

Its inaugural ceremony took place on Tuesday.

Present there were Ri Chol Man, vice-premier of the Cabinet and chairman of the Agricultural Commission, officials concerned, working people, builders and employees of the branch. -0-
