Pyongyang, July 27 (KCNA) -- The eighth contest of foreign language hearing and conversation skill of students from universities of education and teacher-training colleges took place at Kim Hyong Jik University of Education in the DPRK from July 22 to 26.

The contest, aimed at training many talents capable of speaking several languages at teacher-training colleges, brought together more than 140 students selected from across the country.

At the contest, divided into the groups of universities of education and teacher-training colleges, the participants fully displayed their rich skills.

Kim Hyong Jik University of Education, Kim Chol Ju University of Education, Chongjin O Jung Hup University of Education, Sinuiju Cha Kwang Su University of Education, Hamhung University of Education, Sinuiju Teacher Training College, Kim Jong Suk Teach Training College and Hamhung Choe Hui Suk Teacher Training College proved successful at the contest. -0-
