Pyongyang, November 7 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers of the Kim Jong Thae Electric Locomotive Complex in the DPRK strive to successfully attain this year's goal.
The sheet metal processing shop and the part processing shop of the complex have finished the sheet metal processing for an electric locomotive in the process of making and made innovations in the under-frame and bogie production.
The processing workshops Nos. 1, 2 and 3 have made progress in the machine frame processing, and the motor factory has newly produced efficient motors.
Similar achievements are witnessed at the locomotive assembly workshop, the forging workshop, the casting workshop and the self-reliance workshop.
The complex is pushing ahead with the work to process bogies and compressor parts needed for the production of electric locomotives with various capabilities and conducting the test-run of already-manufactured electric locomotive in close contact with the relevant units.
Its officials and workers are producing many railway fixtures while accelerating at the final stage the production of electric locomotives and passenger trains planned for this year. -0-
