Many People in DPRK Visit Jangjasan Revolutionary Site

Pyongyang, February 15 (KCNA) -- An endless stream of visitors is flowing to the Jangjasan Revolutionary Site in the DPRK associated with the patriotic feats of Chairman Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the significant February holiday.

This year alone, the revolutionary site has been visited by many working people, youth and students in Jagang Province including the provincial public security bureau, the provincial communication management bureau, the provincial railway construction company, the September Textile Mill and Kanggye University of Education, those in the expedition of the 250-mile Journey for National Liberation and service personnel of the Korean People's Army.

The visitors looked back on the noble life of the Chairman, being briefed on the fact that he stayed at the site during the grim Fatherland Liberation War (1950-1953) and cultivated his high ambition to bring about the future of the victorious country, wishing President Kim Il Sung good health.

They looked round the house where the Chairman stayed and the relics preserved with care.

Seeing the two pine-nut trees he planted on the day marking the 5th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea, saying that if the Yankees burn a tree, ten or hundred trees should be planted to make the mountains and fields of the country green, the visitors hardened their will to make a tangible contribution to the comprehensive national prosperity with Kim Jong Il's patriotism kept deep in mind.

They also went round the study site, the site used for disseminating songs, the wrestling site and other places associated with activities of the Chairman who paid attention to preparing his comrades as revolutionary talents possessed of versatile knowledge and strong physical strength.

In front of a monument to poem at the Jangsu Peak, they recollected the revolutionary career of the peerlessly great man who pledged to hold in high esteem the President with loyalty and glorify Korea. -0-
