Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- Kangwon Province in the DPRK has been wrapped in great joy and pleasure with the inauguration ceremony of the Hoeyang Army-People Power Station which was held with splendor in the presence of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

An art performance "Our Marshal and People in Kangwon Province" was given at the Kangwon Provincial Art Theatre on Thursday to commemorate the completion of the new six army-people power stations.

The venue of the performance was full of the greatest glory and happiness of people in Kangwon Province who met the great father visiting the power station in rugged mountains and were warmly blessed.

Among the audience were senior officials of the Cabinet and ministries, chief secretaries of the provincial committees of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairpersons of the provincial people's committees, and officials and working people in Kangwon Province.

The performance began with poem and chorus "Yearning". The performers expressed thanks in reflection of the unanimous mind of all the people in the province to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who led the whole course of the construction step by step to the wonderful completion of a new power base, though he was busy with all affairs of the country, and gave all honor to the people in Kangwon Province, making sure that the whole country knows them.

Songs of struggle and advance reminded the audience of the unforgettable days of the power station construction with the ardent patriotism and the spirit of self-sustenance to build without fail the eternal wealth for the prosperity of the country by their own efforts.

The scenes impressively showing that the might of the great army-people unity, the mainstay of the revolution and the foundation of our society, performed world-startling miracles touched the heartstrings of the audience.

Through exciting and powerful numbers, the audience keenly felt the pure mental world of the creators of the spirit of Kangwon Province who are advancing in the vanguard of implementing the Party's policies and bringing earlier the bright future by dint of self-reliance, bearing in mind the firm faith that the Party's ideas and lines are precisely truth and victory.

The song "We Are Koreans" made the venue of the performance filled with emotion, giving the great pride of being the Koreans, the strongest in the world, and the masters of the most glorious great era of Kim Jong Un who are advancing along the road of prosperity by dint of self-reliance that no one else in the world has ever trodden and racing against the age of gigantic miracle and the time of epoch-making creation and changes.
