Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- Young people in Kaesong and Rason municipalities of the DPRK volunteered to work at major worksites for implementing the decisions of the Workers' Party of Korea amid the growing enthusiasm of the youth to glorify the noble name and honor of the socialist patriotic youth.

Young people in Kaesong Municipality volunteered for worksites of socialist construction.

Those of the Songdo Foodstuff Factory and the municipal public catering establishment resolved to work at coal mines.

Those in Jangphung County wrote their names on the list of petitioners to the county building brigade.

Those in Phanmun District volunteered to work at the raw materials base station.

Young people in Rason Municipality, too, joined the volunteers' ranks.

Those of the Rason Hyesong Garment Factory, the Rason Kwanghung General Development Station and the Rajin Public Catering Service Management Station in Rajin District went to worksites for regional construction, and those in Rajin and Sonbong districts vowed to become fishermen true to the Party's fishing policy.

Among the volunteers are young people of the Rason Marine Industry Station and the Rajin Urban Management Station who volunteered to work at the railway transport sector and farm.

Meetings to congratulate the volunteers were held in Kaesong and Rason municipalities.

Attending the meetings were officials concerned, officials of the youth league, youth and students.

Certificates of petition were awarded to the volunteers and congratulatory addresses were made to be followed by resolution-making speeches.

Officials, youth and students saw off the volunteers leaving for their new revolutionary posts, giving them bouquets. -0-
