Pyongyang, January 10 (KCNA) -- A meeting with sportspersons who won the international games in 2025 was held on Friday.

Present there were Kim Il Guk, minister of Physical Culture and Sports of the DPRK, Kim Myong Gun, chairman of the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee, officials in the field of sports, sportspersons and others.

Sportspersons, who flew the dignified national flag of the Republic to the sky of the world at the international games last year, made speeches.

The ten best players and the ten best coaches of the DPRK for 2025 were announced at the meeting.

The ten best players are Yu Jong Hyang, a footballer of the April 25 Players Team, Song Kuk Hyang and Ri Song Gum, weightlifters of the April 25 Combat Sports Team, Ri Suk, a student of the weightlifting course of combat sports faculty of the Central Sports School, O Kyong Ryong, a wrestler of the Pyongyang Sports Team, Han Chong Song, a wrestler of the April 25 Combat Sports Team, Won Myong Gyong, a wrestler of the Jangsan Sports Team, Pang Chol Mi, a boxer of the Kumgangsan Players Team, Hong Jin Gyong, a Taekwon-Do player of the South Hwanghae Provincial Taekwon-Do Players Team, and Han Il Ryong, a marathoner of the Amnokgang Sports Team.

The ten best coaches are Pak Song Jin, a football coach of the April 25 Players Team, Kim Song Chol, a weightlifting coach of the April 25 Combat Sports Team, Jong Song Hui, a teacher of weightlifting department of combat sports faculty and an academic adviser of the scientific research course of the Central Sports School, Kye Song Il, a weightlifting coach of the April 25 Combat Sports Team, Pak Hyon Chol, head of the Sports Team of the Ministry of External Economic Relations, Yang Chun Song, a wrestling coach of the April 25 Combat Sports Team, Pak Chol Jun, a boxing coach of the Kumgangsan Players Team, Sa Ok Jin, a Taekwon-Do coach of the Ryongaksan Taekwon-Do Players Team, Choe Hyong Chol, a marathon coach of the Amnokgang Sports Team, and So Un Hak, a weightlifting coach of the April 25 Combat Sports Team.

The ten best players and ten best coaches were awarded the certificates and sportswear inscribed with the letters reading "DPRK's Ten Best Players for 2025" and "DPRK's Ten Best Coaches for 2025". -0-
