Pyongyang, February 20 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers in the fishing sector of the DPRK are making successes by concentrating their efforts on aquaculture.

The Kumipho Fishery Station in the west coastal area has increased production by introducing advanced techniques in kelp farming and ensuring sci-tech cultivation method.

The Pupho Offshore Farm has registered high results in the production after qualitatively finishing the seedling and transplanting of kelp.

The Songdowon Fishery Station, the Kosong Offshore Farm and the Thongchon Fishery Station in the east coastal area are harvesting a large amount of aquicultural products including mussels. -0-
