Pyongyang, March 10 (KCNA) -- A passing-on technique began for health workers of the Kangdong County Hospital in the DPRK.

The Pyongyang Municipal People's Committee took a measure so that those health workers can get passing-on technique at the relevant specialized departments of such central-level hospitals as the Pyongyang University of Medicine Hospital, the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital, the Okryu Children's Hospital, the Ryugyong Dental Hospital and the Ryugyong General Ophthalmic Hospital.

Officials of the municipal people's committee went to Kangdong County to hold consultations for the short course on foreign languages and the re-education of health workers while taking steps for the selection of teachers, teaching preparation and the provision of living conditions for those involved in the passing-on technique.

Meanwhile, they dispatched doctors of central-level hospitals to the county hospital to offer the technical guidance on the spot while treating the patients with field health workers.

They also selected members for the operation of medical equipment, IT and the supply and have organized the work to give them passing-on technique at the relevant hospitals.

The passing-on technique for the health workers of the Kangdong County Hospital is scheduled to be conducted several times according to stepwise plans. -0-
