Pyongyang, March 10 (KCNA) -- Following are major news items and articles in Rodong Sinmun, a leading newspaper of the DPRK, on Monday:
- The Korean Central News Agency released a detailed report on the great vitality of the movement for increased production and economy, which promoted the birth of the Chollima era, and its history of succession and development.
- An article deals with the noble lives of Kwon Yong Byok, Ri Je Sun, Ri Tong Gol and Ji Thae Hwan, anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters.
- Graduate students of senior middle schools in Pyongyang met to vow to join the People's Army and had a contest of singing wartime songs in chorus while marching.
- Hundreds of women in North Hamgyong and North Phyongan provinces volunteered to work at theaters for creation and innovation.
- The Department of Press and Information of the DPRK Foreign Ministry issued a press statement as regards the fact that the U.S. is going to stage the large-scale joint military exercises Freedom Shield 2025, an aggressive and confrontational war rehearsal, in collusion with the ROK military gangsters.
