High Production Results Witnessed at Ranam Coal-mining Machine Factory of DPRK

Pyongyang, February 9 (KCNA) -- Officials, workers and technicians of the Ranam Coal-mining Machine Factory in the DPRK are fulfilling the assignment for producing custom-built equipment 1.4 times on a weekly average.

According to Rodong Sinmun, technicians and skilled workers of the industrial technology institute established a new alloy steel production process of Korean style with their own efforts and technology. They over-fulfilled the production plan of quality tool steel and die steel at 130 percent by putting science and technology and production on an integrated basis on a high level.

The workers of the steel casting shop applied rational electric furnace operation method to shorten the melting time by far as compared with the previous one, thus carrying out the production of various kinds of steel castings more than 1.5 times than scheduled.
