Forests of Wild Fruit Trees Created in Ryanggang Province of DPRK

Pyongyang, September 14 (KCNA) -- Ryanggang Province of the DPRK directs big efforts to the supply of raw materials for putting the production at regional-industry factories on normal track.

This year, officials and workers in the forest sector have created more than 1 000 hectares of forests of wild fruit trees through a mass movement.

Kim Hyong Jik County grew tens of thousands of young pine-nut trees and Kapsan County planted tens of hectares of forests of oil-bearing chestnut trees, pine-nut trees and black walnut trees.

Unhung County produced and sent many saplings to different parts of the province.

Such successes have been made in Kim Jong Suk and other counties of the province. -0-
