Pyongyang, September 19 (KCNA) -- In the DPRK, September and October are months for autumn hygienic campaign.

In this regard, all citizens across the country have turned out in a mass patriotic campaign to give a facelift to streets, villages and workplaces.

Institutions, enterprises, dongs and neighborhood units are directing efforts to remodeling streets, villages and workplaces in a hygienic and cultured way with the main emphasis put on removing the environmental pollution and the source of all kinds of diseases.

All units are intensifying the disinfection work after examining the origin of epidemic vectors and their habitat.

A model unit has been set in conformity with the characteristics of regions and units and a demonstration conducted to encourage emulation among sectors and units.
