Pyongyang, September 19 (KCNA) -- Nampho Municipality of the DPRK has directed efforts to training technicians, skilled workers and medical workers for operating the regional-industry factory and the hospital under construction in Ryonggang County.

The municipality is taking practical measures to improve the qualifications of technicians, skilled workers and medical workers.

It selected promising persons and enrolled them in the study-while-working educational system so that they prepare themselves to be talents capable of leading the development of their units.

It has taken measures to help them acquire the knowledge and techniques needed for improving the quality of products and handling equipment through production practices at the regional-industry factories in Onchon County built as the first entities of the regional rejuvenation and at the light industry factories in the municipality.

It is improving the practical abilities of doctors and nurses of the county hospital at the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital, the Kim Man Yu Hospital and the Okryu Children's Hospital. -0-
