Quality of Preschool Education Improved in Pyongyang

Pyongyang, September 20 (KCNA) -- Kindergartens in Pyongyang Municipality of the DPRK are improving the quality of preschool education.

The teachers of Kaeson Kindergarten in Moranbong District belonging to Pyongyang Teachers Training College are improving their practical qualifications and providing the educational environment suited to the age and psychological characteristics of children.

Ryugyong Kindergarten in Pothonggang District has developed and introduced an educational aid program attracting the curiosity of children to improve the effectiveness of education. Jungsin and Hasin kindergartens in Sosong District have applied a method of education through various games and invented and produced peculiar teaching aids.

The number of young talents is increasing thanks to the efforts of teachers of Munsin Kindergarten No. 1 in Tongdaewon District affiliated to Kim Hyong Jik University of Education and Rungna Kindergarten No. 1 in Taedonggang District.

Ryomyong Kindergarten in Taesong District and Pongnam Kindergarten in Phyongchon District are raising the children's ability of expression and associability, and Songhwa Kindergarten in Sadong District and Hwasong Kindergarten No. 3 in Hwasong District are frequently organizing the nature study so that children acquire the capability for comparing and analyzing things and phenomena. -0-
