Pyongyang, June 26 (KCNA) -- Mass rallies took place in Pyongyang Municipality and all provinces, cities and counties of the DPRK on June 25, the day of struggle against U.S. imperialism.

Present there were officials of the Party, government and economic organs and working people's organizations, working people, youth and students in Pyongyang and the regions.

First of all, agitation activities on the subject of class education were conducted at the mass rallies.

Speakers at the Pyongyang mass rally said that the generations have changed several times since the war had ceased on this land, but the DPRK people clearly remember the heinous crimes committed by the U.S. imperialist murderers and that their will to annihilate the enemies and make them pay for the blood of the DPRK people who were killed with deep grudge a hundred and thousand times is being hardened with each passing day.

They called for firmly preparing as passionate fighters devotedly defending the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, the destiny of the DPRK people and the whole of their living, politically and ideologically and at the cost of their lives and as the vanguard fighters of the class possessed of the transparent anti-U.S. class consciousness, bearing deep in mind the mission of living and making revolution in the capital city.

Speakers at the rallies held in North and South Phyongan provinces said that the U.S. imperialists massacred nearly 100 000 people in South Phyongan Province and more than 116 000 people in North Phyongan Province during their temporary occupation. They branded the U.S. imperialists as the group of wolves in human skin who brutally killed the people with all sorts of lethal tools and horrible slaughter methods, not content with guns.

The venues of the mass rallies held in North Hwanghae, Jagang and Kangwon provinces were filled with the will of the avengers to prevent the three years of the terrible war when the whole land of the DPRK full of a new life was turned into debris due to the atrocities of the U.S. imperialist brutes and innocent people's blood was flowing like a river.

Speakers at the mass rallies held in North and South Hamgyong and Ryanggang provinces said that the imperialists' shameless high-handed and arbitrary practices have become undisguised and many countries are suffering from the ravages of war as they have no strength to defend themselves. Such reality clearly proves how just the idea and line of self-defence chosen and carried out by our Party and people are, they emphasized.

At the mass rallies in Nampho, Rason and Kaesong municipalities, the participants were full of the firm will to win a brilliant victory and glorify their honor in the struggle for defending the country and the revolution, cherishing the ardent love for the country and the people and bitter hatred for the enemies.
