Pyongyang, June 20 (KCNA) -- Organizations of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea at all levels are making more successes in weeding through high enthusiasm for emulation.

UAWK organizations in Kangwon Province are working hard to finish weeding in good time.

The agricultural workers in Munchon City, who finished the second-round weeding before any others, are accelerating the third-round weeding after setting it as a principle to weed the secluded and remote fields first.

The farms in Anbyon, Thongchon and Hoeyang counties over-fulfill their daily weeding plans.

The North Phyongan Provincial Committee of the UAWK organized emulations for weeding and contributed to finishing the second-round weeding of cornfields in the main by doing field political work through information and motivation means.

Agricultural workers in Jaeryong and Pongchon counties of South Hwanghae Province are carrying out their daily plans, thinning out small or diseased plants and light leaf-colored ones.

The UAWK organizations in Pyongyang Municipality, including Mangyongdae, Sadong, Rangnang and Samsok districts, are arousing the enthusiasm of farmers through socialist emulation campaign and ensuring the speed and quality of weeding. -0-
