More Senior Middle School Graduates in DPRK Volunteer for Military Service

Pyongyang, March 22 (KCNA) -- Senior middle school graduates in Nampho Municipality of the DPRK have joined the ranks of those who volunteered for military service, regarding the national defence as the most vivid expression of patriotism and as their most sacred duty and foremost mission.

The graduates of Susan and Paekryong senior middle schools in Kangso District volunteered in group to go to forefront border posts with the determination to become honorable defenders of the country and people's security.

Those of Onchon County vowed to join the People's Army with their firm determination to defend their native places and the precious country at the risk of their lives.

Tens of graduates from Husan Senior Middle School in Ryonggang County pledged to take arms of the revolution and deal a merciless sledge-hammer blow at the U.S. imperialists and the puppet group seeking to bring the dark clouds of war again, oblivious of the lesson of history.

Many graduates in Chollima, Taean and other districts of the municipality, too, volunteered to stand on the forefront of defending the country.

At meetings and congratulatory stages held in relevant areas, war veterans handed over the flags of the DPRK to the rising generation out in defending the country. -0-
