Pyongyang, March 22 (KCNA) -- The Kangwon Provincial Forestry Management Bureau in the DPRK has increased its log production 1.2 times as compared with the same period of last year.

The Chonnae Mine Timber Production Station and the Anbyon Forestry Station carried out their annual log production plans till February.

Workers of the Hoeyang Forestry Station over-fulfill their daily plan by raising the proportion of mechanization in the work and enhancing the loading capacity of vehicles.

The Thongchon Mine Timber Production Station is boosting the efficiency of middle transportation in keeping with the conditions of mountains to speed up the transport of logs.
