Women's Union Art Performance Given to Mark Constitution Day of DPRK

Pyongyang, December 26 (KCNA) -- The artistic information team of the Central Committee of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea gave an art performance "Pyongyang Is Best" at the Hall of Women on Dec. 25 to mark the Constitution Day of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Among the audience were Jon Hyang Sun, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the SWUK, officials of the women's union and its members in Pyongyang.

The performance began with the narration and chorus "People's Country". The performers sang in high praises of the great pride and patriotic enthusiasm of the women across the country who are making a tangible contribution to the struggle to usher in an era of comprehensive development as genuine masters of our great state where the idea of establishing the people-first law is applied.

The poem and story "Law of Love" and other numbers reflected the boundless reverence of all the people for the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who has consolidated the institutional and legal foundation for defending the interests of the people and the country by invariably preserving the popular character of the DPRK Constitution and energetically guiding the work to strengthen the legal system with his rare wisdom and seasoned leadership ability.

The performance ended with the poem and choruses "Only along the Road of Socialism" and "My Strong Motherland". It redoubled enthusiasm of the women's union officials and members to fully demonstrate the strong spiritual strength and revolutionary spirit peculiar to the Korean women. -0-
