Pyongyang, March 5 (KCNA) -- The daily necessities factories and garment factories in 20 cities and counties of the DPRK, the first entities of implementing the regional development policy, set the people's evaluation as the standard and are striving to put the production on a normal basis and improve the quality of products.
Teachers and researchers selected from the science and education sectors in Pyongyang and regions and high-level skilled workers from industrial establishments are intensifying their technical guidance and assistance.
Those factories in Songchon, Kujang, Jaeryong and Hamju counties have organized lectures on science and technology and passing-on technique for their employees, in collaboration with scientists and technicians in relevant fields.
Employees of the daily necessities factories in Kusong City, and Tongsin, Ichon, Kumya, Kyongsong, Orang and Kim Hyong Jik counties are making collective discussions and efforts to better the quality of soap, furniture and other products.
Officials and employees of the daily necessities factories and garment factories in Onchon, Unchon, Unpha, Kosan and Jangphung counties have proposed ways to increase the production of various kinds of consumer goods while solving the problems arising in putting the management on a higher scientific basis and lowering the cost of products.
The regional-industry factories in Sukchon, Unsan, Yonthan and Usi counties have operated the sci-tech learning spaces in a substantial way while stepping up the work to enroll their workers in the tele-education system of various universities.
Now, the number of workers with one grade higher than before in technical skill is increasing among the employees of the newly-built regional-industry factories. -0-
