Production Goes Up at Sunchon Cement Complex in DPRK

Pyongyang, September 25 (KCNA) -- The Sunchon Cement Complex in the DPRK is carrying out its plan at 105 percent on a daily average to attain the high goal for increased production.

The complex made well-regulated phased plans for overhauling equipment and carried them out, thus raising the productivity.

It took timely measures for supplying raw materials and fuel to provide a guarantee for revitalizing production.

The calcinating workshop improved the performance of hammer crushers to heighten the efficiency of crushing clinkers.

The cement workshop made the main speed reducer by itself to improve the operating rate of clinker crushers, and the raw materials workshop manufactured a new clamping device for dumper.

The automation workshop has remodeled the power supply device of the belt measuring chute necessary for the normal operation of belt conveyors, and the ore conveying workshop is carrying out its transport plan while keeping close contact between processes.

The Sunchon Limestone Mine, the Jikdong Gypsum Mine and the Clay Slate Mine are applying efficient mining methods and operating machines and equipment at full capacity. -0-
