Pyongyang, June 6 (KCNA) -- The stage of pride of the schoolchildren "March Forward Dynamically under the Unfurled Flag of the Children's Union" took place at the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace in the DPRK on Thursday to celebrate the 79th founding anniversary of the Korean Children's Union.

Present there were Kim Jong Sun, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, officials of the youth league and participants in the celebrations of the 79th founding anniversary of the KCU.

The venue of the stage was full of emotion by the performers talking about the great love shown by the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un who visited the April 25 Hostel in August last year to watch a demonstration lesson for pupils from the flood-hit areas and see them in new school uniforms and took a series of benevolent measures so that they can bring back the days of their stay in Pyongyang as unforgettable and pleasant memories all their life.

The participants were deeply impressed by the stories of the schoolchildren who were honoured with Kim Il Sung Children Honour Prize and Kim Jong Il Children Honour Prize by making strenuous efforts to become exemplary KCU members as pledged on the day when they joined the glorious KCU.

The stage resounded with "Serial Revolutionary Songs" reflecting the unanimous will of schoolchildren to steadfastly cover the road of loyalty and patriotism by inheriting the tradition of the anti-Japanese children's corps.

The performance was also given by child prodigies.

Acclaimed by the audience was the performance given by the schoolchildren who showed the image of happy life of them bringing into full bloom their beautiful dreams and hopes under the benefits of the socialist educational system in the Primorsky Krai of Russia. -0-
