Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers at the Kangwon Provincial Tree Nursery in the DPRK make progress in growing saplings.

With locally available raw materials, they developed various kinds of nutrient solution necessary for improving the growth of saplings through a mass technological innovation movement.

They have boosted the survival rate of tens of kinds of saplings, manuring and tending them in every growth stage in a responsible manner.

They have also updated the sapling cultivation method and production system for tree planting without regard to any season and operated well greenhouses with plastic sheets and other facilities to supply good species of saplings to many units. -0-
