Pyongyang, December 18 (KCNA) -- The base for the Ryesonggang Sports Team in the DPRK has renovated its appearance.

The base has training halls with various sports equipment and apparatuses, tactical discussion rooms, hostel for sportspersons and restaurant. The completion of the base helps ensure better training and living conditions for the players and coaches of the sports team.

An inaugural ceremony took place on Monday. Present there were Pak Chang Ho, chief secretary of the North Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, sportspersons, youth and students and employees of the sports team. Kim Il Hwan, vice-chairman of the provincial people's committee, made a speech.-0-
