Farmers in Kangwon Province of DPRK Move into New Houses

Pyongyang, August 25 (KCNA) -- Agricultural workers in Jiha-ri, Phangyo County, Kangwon Province of the DPRK, received new houses which were built as befitting the Korean-style rural civilization.

The village where dwelling houses are located in the sunny place in conformity with the natural and geographical conditions of the middle mountainous areas shows the daily-changing socialist countryside.

A ceremony of moving into new houses took place on August 24 attended by officials of the Party and power organs in Kangwon Province and Phangyo County, builders and agricultural workers. A congratulatory speech was made, the licenses for the use of houses were conveyed and speeches were made.

When moving into new houses began, the village was in a festive atmosphere, full of excitement and cheerful dances of the farmers who became masters of the new houses.

Officials shared joy with the owners of the new houses. -0-
