Pyongyang, December 17 (KCNA) -- Leading newspapers of the DPRK on Tuesday dedicate editorials to the greatest national memorial day.

The papers say that the DPRK people have keenly felt the scientific accuracy, truth and great value of the revolutionary ideology and exploits of Chairman Kim Jong Il while advancing socialism, overcoming the challenges and obstacles unprecedented in history since December of bitter tears, 13 years ago.

Chairman Kim Jong Il is a great revolutionary, peerless patriot and tender-hearted father of the people as he devoted his all to the prosperity and development of the country and happiness of the people, holding high the red flag of Juche all his life, Rodong Sinmun says in an editorial, and goes on:

Today the immortal dignity and glory of the DPRK shining all over the world and the high reputation and honor of its people are associated with the undying feats of Kim Jong Il who laid an eternal foundation for the prosperity of socialist Korea all his life.

It is his distinguished patriotic feats that he provided precious mental weapon and encyclopedic guidelines for dynamically leading the times and the revolution along the road of victory with the strong strength of justice and truth, no matter how much water has flowed under the bridge and how often circumstances have changed.

Under his leadership, the Workers' Party of Korea could demonstrate its dignity as a revolutionary party in which the ideological and guidance system of the leader was firmly established, and as an invincible party with iron discipline and fighting efficiency.
