Pyongyang, February 26 (KCNA) -- Agricultural workers of the DPRK have started to seed spring wheat and barley.

The Agricultural Commission and agricultural guidance organs at all levels made full preparations for seeding by applying advanced seed-processing methods while enlarging the fields for wheat and barley cultivation and improving the fertility of soil.

Jaeryong, Pyoksong and Thaethan counties of South Hwanghae Province carpeted farm fields with quality manure and have pushed ahead with seeding according to schedule after drawing up a detailed plan depending on each field.

Kaechon City and Jungsan and Phyongwon counties of South Phyongan Province have made much progress in seeding by selecting right fields and rationally arranging labor.

All other parts of the country step up the seeding of spring wheat and barley while checking on climate conditions. -0-
