Pyongyang, June 27 (KCNA) -- Steady efforts are directed to improving childcare in every province of the DPRK.

South Hwanghae Province is paying attention to making sure that relevant units apply scientific methods to nutritional care of children.

It sees to it that nurseries take care of children in a responsible way in accordance with the manual for the nutritional childcare.

South Hamgyong Province is pushing ahead with the work for increasing the number of good breeds, while expanding the production capacity of the stockbreeding bases, including the Hamhung City Youth Goat Farm.

Cities and counties of the province have increased the kinds and production of dairy products, more than twice the past, and are regularly supplying various kinds of dairy products to nurseries and kindergartens.

Kangwon Province is supplying fishes to the nurseries and kindergartens in mountainous area, including Popdong, Kumgang and Cholwon counties.

South Phyongan and North Hamgyong provinces have striven to improve the quality of dairy products after laying material foundations for producing and supplying milk powder and yogurt. -0-
