Pyongyang, September 24 (KCNA) -- The Taedonggang Syringe Factory in the outskirts of Pyongyang produces various kinds of syringes and instillators.

The factory which contributes to the preventive and curative medical care for the people is associated with the guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

One day in September 2016, Kim Jong Un visited the Taedonggang Syringe Factory. Saying that the factory had a very important duty, he noted that it should strive to keep the production going at a high rate, thoroughly ensure the quality of products and diversify syringes.

Noting that the level of medical service largely depends on how to provide medical appliances, the main means of preventive and curative medical care, he said that the Workers' Party of Korea would take necessary measures to produce quality syringes and instillators for the people in greater numbers.

True to the noble intention of the Party, the factory has put production lines on an automated, assembly-line, germ-free and dust-free basis and optimized technical engineering problems arising in the production of needles to produce quality medical appliances.

In those days, the factory won the title of the Twice Three-Revolution Red Flag, and the lines for producing syringes, needles and instillators were awarded the state's GMP authentication.

Hypodermic sterile syringes for single use and needles were estimated as the best domestic products, and the December 15 Quality Medal and the certificate were conferred on the products. -0-
