Pyongyang, September 24 (KCNA) -- South Hamgyong Province in the DPRK is sprucing up the appearance of the region and providing the people with more civilized living conditions, according to Rodong Sinmun.

The province set a goal to renovate the exterior of houses along the roads and is remodeling more than 550 buildings.

Officials of Kowon, Hongwon, Ragwon and Yonggwang counties are ensuring the quality of renovated buildings.

In all cities and counties of the province including Jongphyong County, officials worked out the plans for sprucing up the appearance of the seats and are providing manpower and materials. -0-
