Pyongyang, November 19 (KCNA) -- A performance "Song of the happy DPRK women under the care of the Marshal" was given by the art information team of the Central Committee of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea at the Hall of Women on Nov. 18 to mark the 80th founding anniversary of the women's union.

Among the audience were Kim Jong Sun, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Jon Hyang Sun, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea, officials of the women's union and members of the women's union in Pyongyang.

The performance began with chorus "Dear Father". The performers sang their deep thanks and reverence for the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who ushers in a new heyday of the Juche-oriented women's movement with his outstanding ideas and leadership and trains the women into a powerful force pushing one of the two wheels of the revolutionary chariot.

Put on the stage were songs "Song of Women" and "Happiness of Mother", adding to the pride and honor of women revolutionaries who have left the traces of genuine life for the prosperity of the country in the annals of the revolution under the warm care of the peerlessly great persons.

The ardent patriotic desire of the women to fully support their motherland, the whole of the DPRK people's life and the cradle of their happiness, was reflected in various numbers.

The performance ended with a poem and choruses "We Will Follow Our Party Forever" and "Motherland, Prosper". -0-
