Pyongyang, November 19 (KCNA) -- The Advanced Science and Technology and Products Exhibition-2025 opened with due ceremony at the Grand People's Study House in the DPRK on November 18.

Taking part in it are more than 550 units in the sectors of metal, chemical and machine-building industries, agriculture, light industry, public health, education and information industry.

On display are over 800 advanced science and technology research achievements and more than 1 600 products which won a high appreciation at national festival of science and technology and sectional exhibitions of sci-tech successes.

During the exhibition, there will be sci-tech exchange and dissemination, including the introduction of valuable research achievements and products and technical service and transfer.

Present at the opening ceremony were Secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea Choe Tong Myong, Chairman of the State Commission of Science and Technology Kim Song Bin and other officials concerned, and officials and scientists of the exhibiting units.

Vice-Premier of the Cabinet Jon Sung Guk made an opening address. -0-
