Message of Thanks of C.C., WPK Conveyed to Employees of Komdok Mining Complex

Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) -- The Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) sent a message of thanks to the workers and officials at the Komdok Mining Complex who finished the extension project for ore transport capacity to open up a bright prospect for increased ore production.

A meeting for conveying the message of thanks took place on Oct. 18.

Present there were Jon Hyon Chol, secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, Choe Hung, general director of the General Bureau of the Tanchon Area Mining Industry, officials concerned, officials and employees of the complex, commanding officers and members of the August 28 Youth Shock Brigade.

Jon Hyon Chol conveyed a message of thanks of the WPK Central Committee.

The WPK Central Committee in the message of thanks noted that the workers of the complex and shock brigade members finished the project of conveyer system No. 9 and conveyer pit No. 72, which can remarkably raise the capacity of transporting all the ores produced in the deep and upper areas with indomitable spiritual power and courageous fighting stamina, and laid a solid foundation for increased production of minerals. This is a great success that injects vitality in the realization of the Party's readjustment and reinforcement strategy and the strengthening of the self-supporting economic foundations and gives a strong encouragement to all the people in their indomitable struggle to victoriously conclude this significant year, it stressed.

The WPK Central Committee sent warm congratulations and encouragement to the workers and officials of the complex and builders who completed the project and put it on the track of sustained and vigorous growth and prosperity with ardent patriotism and loyalty, in the spirit of devotedly implementing the Party's decision and the spirit of self-reliance.
