Pyongyang, May 14 (KCNA) -- DPRK player Song Kuk Hyang set new world records in the 2025 Asian Weightlifting Championships.

In women's 71 kg category held on May 13, she lifted 155 kg in clean and jerk (new world record, new Asian record) and 276 kg in total (new world record, new Asian record) to take the first places in clean and jerk and total respectively and bagged gold medals. She came second in snatch. -0-
