Pyongyang, May 14 (KCNA) -- The 22nd May 21 Architectural Festival opened with due ceremony at the Sci-Tech Complex in the DPRK on May 13 under the sponsorship of the Central Committee of the Architects Union of Korea.

On display at the venue for the festival are more than 540 architectural layouts, over 80 successes in introducing the Architectural Information Modeling Technology and more than 90 construction equipment and tools, all of which were highly appreciated at provincial (municipal) architectural festivals.

During the festival, an experience-sharing meeting will be held, and a video of a global architectural trend will be screened.

Present at the opening ceremony were Kim Jong Gwan, vice-premier of the Cabinet, officials concerned and scientists, designers, teachers, researchers, etc. in the construction sector from across the country. -0-
