Pyongyang, February 15 (KCNA) -- Light industrial factories in different parts of the DPRK are pushing ahead with the production of school uniforms, bags and footwear for new school year freshmen.
The Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill carried out its first-stage bag cloth production plan for new students by bringing about collective innovations.
The Jongju Disabled Soldiers' Knitwear Factory and Songyo, Hamhung, Sinuiju and Sariwon knitwear factories have made innovations in the production of schoolboys' T-shirts and schoolboys' and schoolgirls' sweaters by giving priority to technical preparations according to the designs and improving the efficiency of equipment.
Employees of Pyongyang, Hamhung, Phyongsong and Kaesong school uniform factories invented and introduced various jigs and equipment to raise cutting yield and applied advanced processing methods. And they have observed the rules of the guidelines for all the processes.
The Ryuwon Footwear Factory, Sinuiju Schoolchildren's Footwear Factory, Pyongyang Leather Shoes Factory and the Wonsan Leather Shoes Factory are producing convenient, light and smart shoes. Rason, Sinuiju, Sariwon and Nampho bag factories, too, are ensuring technical indices of products by establishing a quality-ensuring system and enhancing the role of process inspectors and quality supervisors. -0-
