Pyongyang, December 21 (KCNA) -- A net-weaving factory has been remodeled in Yomju County of North Phyongan Province of the DPRK.
The construction of a modern factory capable of producing and supplying nets for catching seafood will help contribute to the development of the country's fishing industry and the improvement of the people's standard of living.
An inauguration ceremony took place on the spot on December 20.
Present there were Ri Chol Man, vice-premier of the Cabinet and chairman of the Agricultural Commission, Ri Hi Yong, chief secretary of the North Phyongan Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the provincial fishery management bureau, officials and employees of the factory and working people in the county.
Song Chun Sop, minister of Fisheries, made an inaugural address. -0-
