Performance of Art Groups of University Students Given in DPRK

Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) -- There took place a performance of art groups of university students at the Youth Park Open-Air Theatre here on April 14 to celebrate the 112th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Among the audience were Ri Tu Song, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, officials of the youth league and youth and students in Pyongyang.

Performers sang high praises of the immortal exploits of the peerless patriot who turned the DPRK into an invincible power dignified with independence, prosperous with self-supporting in economy and strong with self-reliance in national defence.

The atmosphere of the performance was revved up by the numbers dealing with one mind of the rising generations to make a tangible contribution to the comprehensive development of Korean-style socialism by preparing themselves to be revolutionary talents with noble spiritual and moral traits and high ability.

The audience was deeply moved by the numbers showing the revolutionary and patriotic enthusiasm of the young people to steadily inherit the road of loyalty and patriotism while firmly defending and adhering to the revolutionary tradition of Paektu, the eternal cornerstone of the Korean revolution, and adding more shine to it.
