Pyongyang, January 6 (KCNA) -- The Pyongyang Bag Factory called a treasure factory among the people is located in Rangnang District, Pyongyang Municipality, the capital city of the DPRK.

The factory has all the conditions necessary for producing various kinds of bags including sample room, cutting, sewing and packing worksites, sci-tech learning space, technical preparation room and designing room.

This modern bag production base with a large capacity was built on the initiative of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

He personally guided the layout and solved the problems arising in the construction. One day in January 2017 he visited the newly built Pyongyang Bag Factory as his first field guidance for that year.

Going round various places of the factory, he learned in detail about its construction and production. He said that the bags of various shapes and colors suited to the hobbies and tastes of the children and students were made well.

He expressed satisfaction over the fact that our people and children have been provided the bags produced at the factory with locally available raw and other materials.

True to his noble intention, the factory manufactured and introduced equipment for measuring the quality of products, thus making a scientific assessment of the quality of products and steadily improving their quality.

The factory also manufactured a device for measuring thread consumption with high accuracy, saved many materials and lowered the cost of products.

It invented and manufactured efficient jigs and equipment conducive to raising the work efficiency to improve the quality, and many products were awarded the December 15 Quality Medal. -0-
