Pyongyang, September 5 (KCNA) -- An exhibition of architectural works took place in Kaesong Municipality of the DPRK from September 2 to 4.

Presented to the exhibition held at the municipal sci-tech library were more than 100 excellent layouts of architectural designs created by the Paektusan Institute of Architecture, Pyongyang University of Architecture, Pyongyang City Design Institute, Kangwon Provincial Design Institute and Jagang Provincial Design Institute.

Officials, designers and working people widened their architectural insight, seeing the designs for rural village designs, designs for greening plan and layouts of furniture designs reflecting the peculiar environment and colorful landscaping and ensuring convenience, architectural beauty and practicality.

The designs for architectural lighting and electric light decoration and layouts of interior designs drew the attention of visitors, and discussions were made to learn from the successes and experience of the advanced units. -0-
