Ideological Offensive Launched at Industrial Establishments in DPRK

Pyongyang, January 15 (KCNA) -- A revolutionary ideological offensive has been launched at factories and enterprises in the key industrial sector of the DPRK to arouse the working masses to a drive for increased production and economy.

Party organizations at relevant units have intensified their guidance so that the frontline motivation can be concentrated on emulating the fighting spirit and traits of the preceding generations, who bravely overcame the grim difficulties facing the revolution, responding to the call of the Workers' Party of Korea with an all-people drive for increased production and economy.

The Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex, the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex and other units intensively displayed slogans, watchwords and posters reflecting the Party's ideas and spirit and are launching a brisk motivation campaign through loudspeaker cars and mobile acoustic amplifiers.

Officials of the Pukchang Thermal Power Complex, the Wonsan Army-People Power Station, the Kaechon Area Coal-mining Complex and the Kujang Area Coal-mining Complex are conducting the explanation and information work among workers at production sites.

An explanatory information and motivation for increased production in reflection of the requirements of the Party's policies are witnessed at the Ryongsong Machine Complex and other machine-building bases, the December 5 Youth Mine, the Phungnyon Mine and other units.

Officials in the forestry sector, including the Jagang Provincial Forestry Management Bureau, have organized a motivational campaign for increased production and poem-reciting and singing gatherings in keeping with the actual conditions to raise the morale of lumbermen.

The political work at the Pyongyang and Kaechon railway bureaus and the Chongjin and Hamhung engine service brigades is instilling into the transport workers the consciousness that increased transport precisely means patriotism. -0-
