Pyongyang, January 2 (KCNA) -- Workers at the Pukchang Thermal Power Complex in the DPRK have turned out in the new year's advance, carrying out the first-day plan for power production.

Officials and workers at the Workshop 5 took measures to increase the output of power per generator.

Other workshops, too, ensured normal operation of boilers and turbo-generators to carry out their plans.

The oxygen separator workshop has directed efforts to technical management of major equipment and production lines and introduced rational control method to increase the production of oxygen.

Similar successes have been made at other workshops of the complex. -0-
