Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- The workers in the forestry sector of the DPRK carried out their yearly timber production plans and made progress in the readjustment and reinforcement.

The Hwaphyong Forestry Station under the Jagang Provincial Forestry Management Bureau increased the operation rate of power saws to produce a lot of timber every day. The Ryongrim Forestry Station and the Songwon Mine Timber Production Station carried out their daily quotas by using various kinds of timber haulage in combination.

The Yonam and Paekam mine timber production stations under the Ryanggang Provincial Forestry Management Bureau expanded successes while increasing the operation rate of vehicles.

Workers of the Toan Forestry Station and the Sinhung Mine Timber Production Station under the South Hamgyong Provincial Forestry Management Bureau and the Hoeryong Mine Timber Production Station and Yuson Forestry Station under the North Hamgyong Provincial Forestry Management Bureau sent timbers to major construction sites.

Those of the Milrim Power Saw Factory under the South Phyongan Provincial Forestry Management Bureau overfulfilled their plans by keeping all machines in full-capacity operation.

Similar successes have been made by technicians and workers of the Manpho Forestry Machine Factory under the Jagang Provincial Forestry Management Bureau and the Hyesan Forestry Machine Factory under the Ryanggang Provincial Forestry Management Bureau.

Workers of the Kilju Plywood Factory finished the grand repair project as scheduled and the Wiyon Wooden Ware Factory under the Ryanggang Provincial Forestry Management Bureau is pushing ahead with the remodeling project at the final stage. -0-
