Pyongyang, October 10 (KCNA) -- The Chollima Tile Factory in the DPRK fulfilled its yearly national economic plan ahead of schedule.

The officials and workers of the factory produced one million square meters of more tiles than the same period of last year.

After setting an innovative stage-by-stage goal according to the plan for readjustment and reinforcement, the factory secured materials and accessories to repair major equipment.

It additionally built a pipeline for supplying gas to the first-stage production site and supplied an agitator to the enamel workshop, thus providing a guarantee for increasing the tile production both in quality and quantity.

Researchers and technicians of the industrial test station made a contribution to increasing the production by setting the mixing ratio according to the conditions of relevant raw materials in a scientific way and intensifying the research into raising the yield. And the molding workshop increased the productivity by installing more belt conveyers.

The exterior wall tile workshop produces more tiles than planned every day, examining and repairing equipment in a responsible manner and operating equipment as required by technical regulations and standard operating method.

Similar achievements were made at the interior tile workshop no.2, the marble tile workshop and the general grinding workshop. -0-
