Pyongyang, February 28 (KCNA) -- The 2026 National Winter Games closed at the ice hockey gymnasium in the Paektusan area sports village in Samjiyon City, Ryanggang Province of the DPRK, on February 27.

Men players of the Taesongsan Sports Club set a new national record in speed skating.

Present at the closing ceremony were officials concerned, sportspersons and citizens in Samjiyon City.

A new record medal was awarded to the players who set new national records, and cups and medals to the successful teams and players. -0-
