Preparations for Fishing Brisk in DPRK

Pyongyang, January 13 (KCNA) -- Fishery stations on the west coast of the DPRK are busy with the preparations for spring fishing.

The Mundok Thaehyang Fishery Station has secured materials of different kinds and sizes for repairing fishing boats and fishing tackles, new nets and anchors while overhauling wire ropes.

The station has produced accessories and parts needed for repairing fishing boats while ensuring the supply of power with fuel common in its region. The repaired fishing boats are undergoing a technical re-examination.

The Kamapho Fishery Station is stepping up the preparations for going out fishing, while mass-producing paint developed by itself.

Unjon and Jongju fishery stations are repairing fishing boats and fishing tackles to ensure intensive fishing.

Nampho and Haeju fishery stations, too, are making preparations for going out fishing, after setting the goals for improving the technical conditions of fishing boats and fishing tackles. -0-
